Farewell to the season: chamber recital by Kristian Mráček and Veronika Jaklová

We will close this year's season of the Celetná Salon with a concert on 9 June 2026 at 7 pm, featuring violinist Kristian Mráček, a scholarship recipient of our Foundation, with pianist Veronika Jaklova. As a duo, both young artists have already won important awards - 1st prize in the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition (including the prize for the best interpretation) and 3rd prize in the international competition Concertino Praga. Kristian is a student of solo performance in the Master's programme at the Music College in Lucerne, Switzerland, in the class of Igor Karsko, while Veronika studies at the Prague Academy of Music in the class of Jan Bartos. Together they will offer three gems for violin and piano: the dramatic Sonata for violin and piano by Leoš Janáček, the lyrical Romance by Antonín Dvořák and the colourfully impressionistic and mystical Myths by Karol Szymanowski.

May Piano Evening in Salon Celetná

On 19 May at 7 pm, four exceptionally talented pianists - Eva Strejcová, Anna Gaálová, Pavol Praženica and Matouš Zukal - will perform at the Celetná Salon. Each of them brings his or her own world of performance, shaped by studies with leading teachers, success at prestigious competitions and collaboration with major orchestras. Together they will offer a dramaturgically varied programme featuring works by Liszt, Scriabin, Janáček, Rachmaninov, Smetana and Strauss/Grünfeld. The evening will be a celebration not only of the art of the piano, but also of the Steinway instrument itself, generously donated to our Foundation by Mr. Christopher Scholz.
