Piano recital by Eva Strejcová in the November Salon Celetná
Eva Strejcová is currently studying with Lukáš Klánský at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She is a laureate of a number of piano competitions, including the first prize at the International Novák Piano Competition, the first prize at the Pro Bohemia International Performance Competition in Ostrava and the first prize at the Beethoven Teplice Piano Competition. Other achievements include 2nd prize and a special prize for her interpretation of Bedřich Smetana at the International Smetana Piano Competition in Pilsen. She has performed with symphony orchestras in Ostrava and Pilsen as well as with the North Bohemian Philharmonic Orchestra. She also performed at the renowned Festival de Musique de Menton in France. She is a member of the piano trio Ars Essendi, with which she opened the concert season of the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra in Skopje.
