Verbier Festival 2025 invites young musicians to join the festival's resident orchestras

From 10 October to 12 December 2024, young classical music students and professionals up to the age of 28 from all over the world can apply to join the two Festival Orchestras in Residence, which will provide the orchestral component of the Verbier Festival programme in July 2025. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an elite music showcase - one of Europe's most prestigious classical music festivals, to perform alongside some of today's finest soloists and to work under conductors who rank among the world's top. For many musicians from all over the world, being a member of the Verbier Festival orchestras has been a stepping stone to a career of excellence. Applications are open until 12 December 2024, for video applications until 16 January 2025! In addition, the Stadler Foundation has decided to support applicants from the Czech Republic and Slovakia by paying the registration fee. In addition, we will award one special scholarship to a selected Czech/Czech Republic student who will be accepted into the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra. This exceptional scholarship is intended to cover the participation fee of CHF 1500.
