Consent to personal data processing

Verbier Festival invites young musicians to join the Festival Orchestras in Residence

TheVerbier Festival, which takes place in July 2023 in the Swiss Alps of the canton of Valais, in collaboration with the Stadler-Trier Music Foundation, announces an extraordinary opportunity for young professional musicians and students of classical music.


From 11 October to 19 December 2022, young classical music students and professionals up to the age of 28 from all over the world can apply to join the two festival orchestras in residence that will provide the orchestral component of the Verbier Festival programme in July 2023. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an elite music showcase - one of Europe's most prestigious classical music festivals, to perform alongside some of today's finest soloists and to work under conductors who rank among the world's top. For many musicians from all over the world, being a member of the Verbier Festival orchestras has been a stepping stone to a career of excellence.

Applications are open until 19 December 2022, for video applications until 19 January 2023! In addition, the Stadler Foundation has decided to support applicants from the Czech Republic and Slovakia by paying the registration fee.
